Since the Vancouver Canucks are now the only Canadian team left in the play-offs I would like to welcome the rest of Canada onto the Canucks' bandwagon. To make sure you don't look like a Canuck Fan Newbie here are the Top Ten things you need to know to fit in with regular Canuck fans:
10. Playoff beards are optional (if you're a girl!)
9 The unofficial name for the Canucks' logo is the 'birthing whale'
8. Swedish Twins are not a myth.
7. When driving around town after a win the proper direction is to go from East to West so that the wind catches your car flag properly
6 Goat Canucks Goat ( started by students from My almamater - UCFV)
5. Don't worry we can't tell the twins Henrik and Daniel Sedin a part either.
4 If you do not have an offical white towel you are allowed to use regular towels ( as long as they are white). (see here for the history of Towel Power)
3 When you here people say 'Bobby Lu' they mean Roberto Luongo.
2 Na na na na hey hey by the Nylons is the official theme song.
1 You can bring your Canuck Bandwagon membership fee directly to me :-)
Happy Cheering! Game on at 7:00 on CBC.
